MESSAGE
I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to the officers and staff of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) on the occasion of the 64th DRI Foundation Day.
For more than six decades, the officers and staff of DRI have consistently displayed remarkable courage and tenacity in confronting the serious challenges posed by smuggling of contraband items like gold, narcotics etc., commercial frauds, trade in illegal wildlife and environmentally sensitive items. The organization has also displayed a remarkable readiness to rapidly adapt to the constantly changing intelligence and enforcement landscape. DRI’s initiatives in securing cooperation from other international Customs and law enforcement agencies are also commendable.
On this momentous occasion, I encourage the officers and staff of DRI to continue their good work in the service of the country.
